# 3.9. Take Off

### There are two ways for the drone to take off:

3.9.1. Switch the drone to Qloiter mode, arm the drone, turn on the engine with ch7 on RC (tail propeller will rotate slowly after engine is on), control from RC to take off the drone vertically with 10 meters, then click <mark style="color:blue;">**“Start Mission”**</mark>. The drone will start the mission automatically. Please keep RC7 on the right side.

3.9.2. Arm the drone, turn on the engine with ch7 on RC (tail propeller will rotate slowly after engine is on),then click <mark style="color:blue;">**“Start Mission”**</mark> button, drone will take off automatically and implement the mission. After the aircraft has completed taking off, the throttle of the remote control should be switched back to the middle position. Please keep RC7 on the right side.
