3.1. Simple mission routes

3.1.1. Click the connection button , select the corresponding connection method in the pop-up window, and connect to the drone, and then Wait for the connection to complete.

3.1.2. Click the “Route” button to enter the route planning page.

3.2. Mapping mission routes

3.2.1. Enter the route drawing page, select “Mapping Routes”, click “GO”, a pop-up reminder will appear, confirm and enter the surveying and mapping route drawing.

3.2.2. After entering the surveying and mapping route drawing, select the required camera and set the surveying and mapping parameters of the corresponding camera.

3.2.3. After setting the surveying and mapping camera parameters, select the required surveying and mapping type according to the specific surveying and mapping needs.

There are two preset surveying and mapping types to choose from: “Polygonal survey” and “Corridor scan”.

  • Here we take the “Polygonal survey” area as an example:

After clicking on the “Polygonal survey”, select the method of planning the survey area in the pop-up window.

Two methods to choose from: “Basic” and “Manual”

3.2.4. After generating the surveying and mapping area, drag it with the mouse to modify it to the required surveying and mapping area. You can quickly adjust the size, angle and other parameters of the surveying and mapping route through the right column.

3.2.5. After adjusting the required parameters, surveying area, and then click the “Generata Routes” button to automatically generate surveying and mapping waypoints and photo points in the surveying and mapping area.

3.1.3. Click the route drawing button and draw the desired waypoint on the map.Exit the drawing mode by right-clicking on the mouse, or click the drawing button when finish the waypoints.

3.1.4. Click button on the route drawing page to automatically add a circling waypoint, or click the button on the right to add a circling waypoint manually.

3.1.5. After the route is drawn, you can click the expand button to check the route and change the waypoint commands and detailed data.

3.1.6. After checking that everything is correct, click the Write Route button to “Upload Missions”and the regular route drawing is completed.

3.2.6. After the surveying and mapping route is generated, check whether the route is correct. You can add “Takeoff loiter” or “Land loiter” circling waypoints according to personal needs (As Figure 1). After checking, click the “Write Route button” (As Figure 2), and the surveying and mapping route planning is completed.

No matter which method you choose to generate the survey area, you can drag and adjust the survey area with the mouse after generation.
